Last updated 27 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use suksminhas.com or contact the practice, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
This website is run by the private practice of Professor Suks Minhas, [Trading name to confirm] (“we”, “us”), at 18 Devonshire Street, London W1G 7AF. Company number [to confirm]. ICO registration number ZA309669.
We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us at info@londonandrology.com, 0207 034 5032 or by post to 18 Devonshire Street, London W1G 7AF.
What we collect
- When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, phone number (optional), what your enquiry is about and your message.
- Health information: because the practice treats men’s health conditions, your message may include details about your health. This is special category data, and we treat it with extra care.
- When you browse the site: Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how long you stay, your device and browser type, your approximate location (town or country) and how you reached the site. It does not give us your name or contact details.
- Preferences on your device: your cookie setting and your light or dark theme choice, stored in your own browser. See the cookie policy.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, arrange a consultation.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not use your information for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Our lawful basis
- Enquiries: taking steps at your request before you become a patient, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- Health information in an enquiry: the provision of health care (UK GDPR Article 9(2)(h)), and your explicit consent, given when you tick the box on the form. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Analytics: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. Analytics is on from your first visit and you can switch it off at any time in Cookie settings at the foot of every page.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with the following services, each acting on our instructions:
- Zapier, which passes form submissions securely to our practice email inbox.
- Our email provider [to confirm], where enquiries are stored and answered.
- Google Analytics, for site statistics. Google signals and data sharing with Google are switched off.
- Google Maps, only if you choose to load the map on the contact section.
Zapier and Google may process data in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
If you become a patient, your clinical information is handled under the privacy notice of the hospital or clinic where you are treated.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation: [period to confirm, for example 2 years], then deleted.
- If you become a patient: your records are kept in line with the retention periods for medical records.
- Analytics data: 2 months.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it, or to delete it
- ask us to restrict or stop using it, or object to how we use it
- receive it in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To use any of these rights, contact us at info@londonandrology.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Keeping it secure
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Enquiries go straight to the practice inbox and are seen only by Professor Minhas and his secretarial team. Please do not send images or documents through the form; the team will tell you how to share them securely.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle your information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
